Data & Technology Manager, Acumen East & West Africa

Acumen is hiring a data and technology manager for its East and West Africa work, with the role based in Nairobi or Lagos and an in-office expectation several days each week. The position supports a large business and economic-empowerment program and sits at the intersection of systems, data, and program delivery.

This role is a practical fit for someone who can improve data operations, support learning and reporting needs, and keep technology processes useful for program teams across multiple African markets.

• Strong experience working across data, systems, or technology operations in a program environment.
• Ability to support reporting, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
• Comfort working from Nairobi or Lagos with an in-office rhythm.
• Strong stakeholder communication and operational follow-through.
• Experience in development, impact, or multi-country program settings is helpful.
